A Gardening Double Feature

On Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. Munnell Run Farm offered its third annual adult gardening program. Landscape designer Shannon McConnell, of Cottage Gardens, presented “Design Inspirations for the Homeowner,” which gave examples of how to create the feeling of various outdoor spaces in a residential setting. In additon, certified arborist Tom Kavanagh, of Cottage Gardens, presented “Pruning 101: How & When Do I Prune That?” He discussed the basics of pruning and how different techniques apply to the variety of plants found in home landscapes.
