Mercer Girl Scouts
In 2002, the Mercer Girl Scout Service Unit established a series of
eight raised garden beds at Munnell Run Farm.
Funding for the project was provided through the Lindsay Fund, and the
labor to build the beds was furnished by the Mercer Conservation District. Since then, Mercer area
Girl Scouts have donated fresh produce and herbs from the gardens to
area food banks each growing season. They also grow flowers and arrange them
into bouquets for residents at the nearby
