Good Health Gardening Program

The Good Health Gardening Program was held on May 9, 2006. Guest presenters were:
- Darrin Miller, Mercer Family Physical and Occupational Therapy, Mercer,PA, part of the Sharon Regional Health System.
- Charese Lashinsky, Nationally certified massage therapist from Alternative Therapies, Grove City, PA.
- Bob Brown from Wholesome Fare Natural Foods, Hermitage, PA.
Joanna Julock introduced the speakers
Refreshments were provided for
presenters and participants
Darin Miller, physical therapist, addressed the body mechanics of gardening and how to prevent injuires
Charese Lashinsky, massage therapist, demonstrated some strategies for relieving muscle strains or injuries
Bob Brown, owner of Wholesome Fare Natural Foods, discussed the benefits of eating natural foods and their healing properites
A display of natural foods was provided by Bob Brown
Presenters stayed after to chat with the participants

food samples with the group
Everyone enjoyed the refreshments
and talking with each other
